About us

What does the Club play/do?

Crossfire gaming club was created by a small group of friends that enjoy tabletop wargaming. We wanted to set up a gaming club where we could meet up regularly, play decent sized games of Warhammer 40k (and other games), run campaigns, leagues and other events and grow the hobby locally.

When we set out, we decided it was our goal to create a gaming space within the local area where you can play on full sized tables that are up to 6×4 in size. We also felt it important that the club provides thematic and fun terrain to play on, that looks good, as this really improves the enjoyment of such games. Another core values is that the club promotes a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for gamers of all levels of experience.

Outside of regular club nights, we plan to eventually get to the stage where we are running tournaments, narrative campaign days and other events. As well as inviting other clubs to take part and complete in team events.

Who is the Gaming Club for?

If you are interested in games such as Warhammer, Kill Team, Bolt Action, Star Wars: X-Wing, Marvel Crisis Protocol or want to play board games, card games or need a space for your Dungeons and Dragons group then get in touch!

Feel free to come along on one of our club nights to meet us and find out more! We are open to everyone, although under 16’s will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Play a game not mentioned above? Ask us about it, or better yet join our social media groups, discord server or just come along and you can ask the members yourself. You’ll often find that most of us are willing to try a new system or game every now and then.

Where do we meet?

The Crossfire Gaming Club normally meets at Cumbernauld Village Hall on Thursday nights from 6pm to 10pm. More information can be found on our Club Night Details page.

Who’s Behind Crossfire?

The committee is made up from a group of friends that would meet up regularly to play wargames or board games.

Although it’s nice to go to each other’s houses to play, we wanted to create a space that would allow us to do bigger things, meet new people and expand the wargaming scene locally.

You can find out more about us and the games over at our meet the committee page.
